Weaving The Threads of Education Together
The Tapestries of Learning Symposium brings together Werklund School of Education visiting scholars,
faculty, and graduate students from various specialization areas for a series of events, workshops, and lectures presented by faculty and graduate students. This conference will occur over two days on Thursday February 20th - Friday February 21st, 2020. All specializations are welcome to submit for presentations and/or the poster fair. Location: Third Floor of the Education Block in the Werklund School of Education (in the classrooms next to the Doucette Library). Please Note: If you submit abstracts for both oral presentations and the poster fair you must rank them in order of preference. Only one abstract will be chosen per student * Undergraduate students are welcome to registrar to attend the conference This initiative is been undertaken to meet the goals of a twofold GPESA strategy:
First and foremost it promotes the Werklund School of Education's strategic objective of "leading education for a connected world" by bringing together individuals at all levels to discuss research and its impact on an educational environment in various contexts. Secondly, this initiative also brings together scholars from both educational research and educational psychology helping to build bridges and community between the two disciplines while highlighting the connections the two areas share. |
